The 3 Elijah's
Throughout the ages Gods wonderful plan of salvation has always been twisted, bombarded, infiltrated and corrupted by Satan. We (man or human beings) are caught in the center of this drawn out drama between Christ and Satan.
Eph 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
On one hand we have Christ, Holy is His name.
Rev 15:3 & 4
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] thy ways, thou King of saints.
4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
And on the other hand we have Satan, Arch deceiver is his name.
Rev 12:7 – 9 & 12 & 13
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and
the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12 Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child].
So Jesus Christ is our divine savior, the Son of God, His Father and the Spirit of Christ are committed to eradicate, rid and purge this entire world and by extension the universe of sin and Satan forever, thus restoring man to his original state… and be assured it SHALL & WILL be done.
God sets up the 3 Elijah's bearing the 3 Angels messages
Which points to Christ and His Righteousness (We'll get back to that). The Devil who is Satan on the other hand is in active direct opposition to God. His sole purpose is to gain ultimate control of this world for himself. He sets up himself as God, thus deceiving multitudes.
He uses truth (but not in its absolute form) as the foundation of his lies. He mimics Gods Kingdom, but not in righteousness…
So what do you think he sets up?
The Dragon the Beast and False Prophet
Whom do these 3 represent?
Rev 16:13 & 14
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the
mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Remember this – Satan mimics Christ’s union, he mimics everything about God, but not for good.
The Word of God repeatedly warns us of this system. We are told to beware. In fact Christ Himself gave up Heaven to win the victory so that we can overcome.
What or who is the Dragon?
Rev 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:3
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Daniel 7:7 & 8
After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong
exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The Dragon = Satan or His Agency
What or who is the Beast?
Daniel 7:17,19 & 20
These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth.
18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth [were of] iron, and his nails [of] brass; [which] devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
20 And of the ten horns that [were] in his head, and [of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even [of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look [was] more stout than his fellows. These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth.
Daniel 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
Rev 13:2 -4
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
The Beast = Kingdom / Goverment / Political power
What or who is the false Prophet?
Matt 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matt 24:23 & 24
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
2 Pet 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Rev 17:3 -5
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
False Prophet= Harlot= Apostate Religion / Apostate Protestantism
If we are not blind, but have the vision, "the light that shineth in a dark place"... we would clearly see this system in full operation today, 2016.
But this system is doomed, its only that time hasn't caught up to the reality as yet. God is NEVER taken by suprise - He always will have His Word the Light before us. Before sin arose, God had a plan - The truth about Angels God and Christ knew from the beginning, of the apostasy of Satan and of the fall of Adam through the deceptive power of the apostate.
The plan of salvation was designed to redeem the fallen race, to give them another trial. Christ was appointed to the office of Mediator from the creation of God, set up from everlasting to be our substitute and surety.—1SM 250. {TA 24.4}
Known unto God are all His works, and from eternal ages the covenant of grace (unmerited favor) existed in the mind of God. It is called the everlasting covenant; for the plan of salvation was not conceived after the fall of man, but it was that which was “kept in silence through times eternal, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known unto all the nations unto obedience of faith.” Romans 16:25, 26, A.R.V.—ST Dec. 5, 1914. {TA 25.1}
The plan for our redemption was not an afterthought, a plan formulated after the fall of Adam. It was a revelation of “the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal.” Romans 16:25, R.V. It was an unfolding of the principles that from eternal ages have been the foundation of God's throne. . . . God did not ordain that sin should exist, but He foresaw its existence, and made provision to meet the terrible emergency.—DA 22.{TA 25.2}
So in His divine response God set His plan in motion to call His chosen back.
The old testament pointed to the coming messiah. God called out a special people (Israel - Judah) from Egypt through whom was made to carry the seed of promise. But these people (special though they be) had and have a serious problem. They longed for the things of Egypt which today represents the things of the world. Through the earthly Sanctuary, faithful men, Judges and Kings God sought to call them back, but they would not hear.
So God raised Prophets. One of which we will look at as well as the one who came in his spirit and power.
Elijah
1 Kings 16:33, 17: 1-2, 18, 19: 1-4 – (Read Summarize)
- The Irony- Was labeled a troubler, a disturber of Israel(church) whilst calling Gods people the same said Israel away from a false system of worship back to righteousness. Which is, demonstrated by the worship of the one true God, the creator of Heaven and earth, the God of the Sabbath. As a result of such a call, he received a death decree from the beast power (State or Government) which was in an ungodly relationship with a king of Israel (Gods church) that's a religio-political entity Ahab – King, Jezebel – Papacy, false Prophets – Apostate Protestantism – 1st day worship, Elijah – Gods choice – remnant – commandment keeper – 7th Day worship Did not taste death… was translated
John the Baptist
Mark 1:1-6, 6: 14-29, John 1:29 – (Read Summarize)
- Came in the spirit and power of Elijah, was the forerunner of Christ. His message was to prepare people to receive the lamb. Was not accepted in his own country, lived in the wilderness or country, had a specific diet, dressed a particular way, laid the axe by the root, in other words, he spoke the thus sayeth the Lord. He expressed Gods displeasure, by rebuking Herod (King/State) unlawful union with Herodias (Woman/Church). Herod – King, Herodias – Papacy, Salomi’s dance of deception – daughters of the papacy – false prophets/Apostate Protestantism, John – Gods choice – commandment advocator and keeper Was martyred - beheaded by betrayal of the false prophet…
Now keep in mind the experiences of these two messengers. When we add them up we get the experience of the 3rd or last day messengers.
1st Elijah - speaks out against apostate Protestantism and restores true worship + 2nd Elijah (spirit and power) prepares the way for the first coming of Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. He had a specific diet and a specific dress code (he was unlike the world because he was paving the way for Jesus) = 3rd Elijah message & experience to prepare the world for the second coming of Christ. It’s a serious responsibility, and therein lies our message. We are to inform the world that the commandments of God still stand including the 7th day Sabbath. We ought to have a specific diet. We ought not to resemble the world by the way we look (dress reform). We must call sin by its rightful name. We must stand up against any form of Church and state union.
Folks all this and more must be done as Gods commandment keeping people. God has preserved us for the fulfillment of His purpose alone. Jesus is soon to come, He desires that none should be lost, time is running out... The Holy Spirit is at work. in His Loving Gracious Mercy He pleads....
Rev 7:1
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
