No New Thing Under The Sun

Ecclesiastes 1: 9-11*.
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

The Seven Thunders - A delineation of events which would transpire under the first and second angels' messages. From 1840-1844. To Be Made Forcible Now

All the messages given from 1840-1844 are to be made forcible now, for there are many people who have lost their bearings. The messages are to go to all the churches. {21MR 437.1}.

Christ said, "Blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them" [Matthew 13:16, 17]. The First Angel's Message Quote from - Story of Redemption

All heaven watched with the deepest interest the reception of the first angel's message. But many who professed to love Jesus, and who shed tears as they read the story of the cross, derided the good news of His coming. Instead of receiving the message with gladness, they declared it to be a delusion. They hated those who loved His appearing and shut them out of the churches..

Three Steps

Those who rejected the first message could not be benefited by the second; neither were they benefited by the midnight cry, which was to prepare them to enter with Jesus by faith into the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary. And by rejecting the two former messages, they have so darkened their understanding that they can see no light in the third angel's message, which shows the way into the most holy place. {SR 387.2}.

1838–August 11, 1840 – The Second woe

“As the prophetic period of this trumpet commenced by the voluntary surrender of power into the hands of the Turks by the Christian emperor of the East, so we might conclude its termination would be marked by the voluntary surrender of that power by the Turkish Sultan back again into the hands of the Christians..

In 1838 Turkey became involved in war with Egypt. The Egyptians bid fair to overthrow the Turkish power unless other nations should interfere. To prevent this, the four great powers of Europe, England, Russia, Austria and Prussia interfered to sustain the Turkish government..

Turkey accepted their intervention. A conference was held in London at which an ultimatum was drawn up to be presented to Mehemet Ali, the Pacha of Egypt. It is evident that when this ultimatum should be placed in the hands of Mehemet, the destiny of the Ottoman Empire would be virtually lodged in the hands of the Christian powers of Europe.*.

This ultimatum was placed in the hands of Mehemet on the 11th day of August 1840! and on that very day the Sultan addressed a note to the ambassadors of the four powers, inquiring what should be done in case Mehemet refused to comply with the terms which they had proposed..

The answer was that he need not alarm himself about any contingency that might arise; for they had made provision for that. The prophetic period ended, and on that very day the control of Mohammedan affairs passed into the hands of Christians, just as the control of Christian affairs had passed into the hands of the Mohammedans 391 years and 15 days before..

The 2300 Day Prophecy begins in 457BC at the third decree of Artaxerxes and ends October 22 1844 on the third angels message.

Clovis and the Year AD 508 by - Frank W. Hardy (21 March 1917 – 28 January 1994) Australian left-wing novelist.

Clovis is the historical embodiment of France. In 1996, when the French celebrated 1500 years of national existence, what they counted forward from was the year of Clovis’ baptism.1 I think they got the year wrong (1996 - 1500 = 496), but the event they chose to celebrate was certainly right.

When Clovis became Catholic, France became Catholic. More is true. When France became Catholic, Christendom came into being; and when Christendom came into being the stage was set for the strange mix of political and religious interests that rendered the papacy beastlike.

Just as the little horn starts small and becomes “exceedingly great” (Dan 8:9), so too papal political influence starts small and only later becomes exceedingly great. But all of this has a starting point, and that is Clovis’ decision to accept Catholic Christianity.

Deadly Wound

In 1796, French Republican troops under the command of Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Italy, defeated the papal troops and occupied Ancona and Loreto.

Pope Pius VI sued for peace, which was granted at Tolentino on February 19, 1797; but on December 28 of that year, in a riot blamed by Papal forces on Italian and French revolutionaries, the popular brigadier-general Mathurin-Léonard Duphot, who had gone to Rome with Joseph Bonaparte as part of the French embassy, was killed and a new pretext was furnished for invasion.

General Berthier marched to Rome, entered it unopposed on February 10, 1798, and, proclaiming a Roman Republic, demanded of the Pope the renunciation of his temporal power.

Daniel 12:1.
1 And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The removal of paganism (daily) and the setting up op popery or the papacy (abomination of desolation).

Daniel 12:12.
12 Blessed [is] he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

The period of the re-establishment of the spiritual temple for the final time.

The Power of the Prophetic Word

John 2:20.
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

The final Repeat 1798 + 46yrs = 1844.

..... Interwoven with prophecies which they had regarded as applying to the time of the second advent, was instruction specially adapted to their state of uncertainty and suspense, and encouraging them to wait patiently, in the faith that what was now dark to their understanding would in due time be made plain. {GC88 391.2}.

Among these prophecies was that of Habakkuk 2:1-4: “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.” {GC88 391.3}.

As early as 1842, the direction given in this prophecy, to “write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it,” had suggested to Charles Fitch the preparation of a prophetic chart to illustrate the visions of Daniel and the Revelation. The publication of this chart was regarded as a fulfillment of the command given by Habakkuk. No one, however, then noticed that an apparent delay in the accomplish - ment of the vision—a tarrying time—is presented in the same prophecy..

After the disappointment, this scripture appeared very significant: “The vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. . . . The just shall live by his faith.” {GC88 392.1}.

Quote from - Great Controversy 1888 - An American Reformer 334

In the New York Journal of Commerce of November 14, 1833, appeared a long article regarding this wonderful phenomenon, containing this statement: "No philosopher or scholar has told or recorded an event, I suppose, like that of yesterday morning.

A prophet eighteen hundred years ago foretold it exactly, if we will be at the trouble of understanding stars falling to mean falling stars, . . . in the only sense in which it is possible to be literally true." {GC 334.1}.

Thus was displayed the last of those signs of His coming, concerning which Jesus bade His disciples: "When ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." Matthew 24:33. After these signs, John beheld, as the great event next impending, the heavens departing as a scroll, while the earth quaked, mountains and islands removed out of their places, and the wicked in terror sought to flee from the presence of the Son of man. Revelation 6:12-17. {GC 334.2}.

Many who witnessed the falling of the stars, looked upon it as a herald of the coming judgment, "an awful type, a sure forerunner, a merciful sign, of that great and dreadful day." --"The Old Countryman," in Portland Evening Advertiser, Nov. 26, 1833. Thus the attention of the people was directed to the fulfillment of prophecy, and many were led to give heed to the warning of the second advent. {GC 334.3}.

In the year 1840 another remarkable fulfillment of prophecy excited widespread interest. Two years before, Josiah Litch, one of the leading ministers preaching the second advent, published an exposition of Revelation 9, predicting the fall of the Ottoman Empire..

According to his calculations, this power was to be overthrown "in A.D. 1840, sometime in the month of August;" and only a few days previous to its accomplishment he wrote: "Allowing the first period, 150 years, to have been exactly fulfilled before Deacozes ascended the throne by permission of the Turks, and that the 391 years, fifteen days, commenced at the close of the first period, it will end on the 11th of August, 1840, when the Ottoman power in Constantinople may be expected to be broken. And this, I believe, will be found to be the case."--Josiah Litch, in Signs of the Times, and Expositor of Prophecy, Aug. 1, 1840. {GC 334.4}.

At the very time specified, Turkey, through her ambassadors, accepted the protection of the allied powers of Europe, and thus placed herself under the control of Christian nations. The event exactly fulfilled the prediction. (See Appendix.).

When it became known, multitudes were convinced of the correctness of the principles of prophetic interpretation adopted by Miller and his associates, and a wonderful impetus was given to the advent movement. Men of learning and position united with Miller, both in preaching and in publishing his views, and from 1840 to 1844 the work rapidly extended. {GC 335.1}.

Daniel 11Last 6 Verses – Purified Made White & Tried

1. v.40 – 1989 The king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
2. The Watchmen Proclaim Rome with the USA coming together in a clandestine fashion to hasten the demise of the Soviet Union. The battle between east and west opens the key of the bottomless pit and next thing the watchmen are to see is Islam.
3. September 11 2001 The 3rd woe Arrives in History and is one of the strongest reasons for the 7th trumpet 3rd woe because it fits with Isaiah 20-21. The Message is Empowered. The little book open now is Daniel 11:40-45. 9T11-14 Sequence of events is begun “The world is stirred with the spirit of war soon the trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place, Economic Colapse...The eleventh chapter of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment”. After she describes the events of September 11th 2001.
4. v.41 – There is a closed door at the Sunday Law. Many are overthrown in the Glorious land America. The Protestant churches and many in Adventism and “Babylon Falls”. v.42-43 – The rest of the world institutes the Sunday Law and are represented as Egypt. When the 3 fold geographic obstacles have been overcome by the Papacy his ascension to rule the world is accomplished and persecution begins of Gods faithful Sabbath keeping people.
5. v.44 – During this time period before the final close of probation we see the message swelling into the Loud Cry. This represents that “other voice” of Revelation 18:4 it is the 4th Message that is a repeat of the 2nd Angles Message and is preceded by the 1st Message and the 3rd Message follows.
6. Daniel 12:1 – Michael Stands up. The 2nd door closes and probation ends for humanity. The 7 last plagues begin to fall on those who have not had their sins blotted out in the Most Holy place. When Michael Stands up the pronouncement is made Revelation 22: 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. This begins the “great time of trouble” or “Jacobs time of trouble”.
7. Daniel 12:2-3 Christ comes as King of Kings and Lord of Lords there is a special resurrection for those who died within the time period of the 3 Angles messages and those who pierced Him. Those who are among the wicked cry for the rocks to fall on them and hide them from His Glory. The earth is burned with fire from the “breath of His nostrils” Job 4:9 and the “fiery stream that issues from before him” Daniel 7:10.
