Consider This...

For the great majority of mankind are satisfied with appearances, as though they were realities, and are often more influenced by the things that seem than by those that are......

Context

We will yet again, from another angle, ask God to reveal to us the seriousness of the events which are not only about to but has begun to unfold upon our world.

We will utilize the study of Revelation 17 as a source to help us understand why we need to spend much, much more time in the study of prophetic light.

We had better be serious with the matters which pertain to our own salvation, because, believe it or not the time spoken of by Daniel, Jesus and John in the book of Revelation is at hand. These three men, including our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ were men of Prophecy. These men spoke about us. What we have been going through and what we will be going through in the very near future.

Whenever we read that John or Daniel is in vision, they do not see themselves. Who do they see? They see us. The people of God in the last days.

These Prophecies are the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:1-3.
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Revelation 22:7, 14-19.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Quote from - Last Day Events

God Has Always Warned of Coming Judgments.

God has always given men warning of coming judgments. Those who had faith in His message for their time, and who acted out their faith in obedience to His commandments, escaped the judgments that fell upon the disobedient and unbelieving. {LDE 13.1}.

The word came to Noah, "Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before Me." Noah obeyed and was saved. The message came to Lot, "Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city" (Genesis 7:1; 19:14). Lot placed himself under the guardianship of the heavenly messengers and was saved. So Christ's disciples were given warning of the destruction of Jerusalem. Those who watched for the sign of the coming ruin, and fled from the city, escaped the destruction. So now we are given warning of Christ's second coming and of the destruction to fall upon the world. Those who heed the warning will be saved.--DA 634 (1898). {LDE 13.2}.

God Has Told Us What to Expect in Our Day.

Before His crucifixion the Saviour explained to His disciples that He was to be put to death and to rise again from the tomb, and angels were present to impress His words on minds and hearts. [See Mark 8:31, 32; 9:31; 10:32-34.] But the disciples were looking for temporal deliverance from the Roman yoke, and they could not tolerate the thought that He in whom all their hopes centered should suffer an ignominious death. The words which they needed to remember were banished from their minds, and when the time of trial came it found them unprepared. The death of Jesus as fully destroyed their hopes as if He had not forewarned them. {LDE 13.3}.

So in the prophecies the future is opened before us as plainly as it was opened to the disciples by the words of Christ. The events connected with the close of probation and the work of preparation for the time of trouble, are clearly presented. But multitudes have no more understanding of these important truths than if they had never been revealed.--GC 594 (1911). {LDE 14.1}.

Last Day Prophecies Demand Our Attention.

I then saw the third angel [Revelation 14:9-11]. Said my accompanying angel, "Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner. These things should engross the whole mind, the whole attention."--EW 118 (1854). {LDE 14.2}.

We shall have to stand before magistrates to answer for our allegiance to the law of God, to make known the reasons of our faith. And the youth should understand these things. {LDE 14.3}

They should know the things that will come to pass before the closing up of the world's history. These things concern our eternal welfare, and teachers and students should give more attention to them.--6T 128, 129 (1900). {LDE 14.4}.

We should study the great waymarks that point out the times in which we are living.--4MR 163 (1895). {LDE 14.5}.

Those who place themselves under God's control, to be led and guided by Him, will catch the steady tread of the events ordained by Him to take place.--7T 14 (1902). {LDE 15.1}.

We are to see in history the fulfillment of prophecy, to study the workings of Providence in the great reformatory movements, and to understand the progress of events in the marshaling of the nations for the final conflict of the great controversy.--8T 307 (1904). {LDE 15.2}.

Study the Books of Daniel and Revelation Especially.
There is need of a much closer study of the Word of God; especially should Daniel and the Revelation have attention as never before. . . . The light that Daniel received from God was given especially for these last days.--TM 112, 113 (1896). {LDE 15.3}.

Let us read and study the twelfth chapter of Daniel. It is a warning that we shall all need to understand before the time of the end.--15MR 228 (1903). {LDE 15.4}.

The last book of the New Testament scriptures is full of truth that we need to understand.--COL 133 (1900). {LDE 15.5}.

The unfulfilled predictions of the book of Revelation are soon to be fulfilled. This prophecy is now to be studied with diligence by the people of God and should be clearly understood. It does not conceal the truth; it clearly forewarns, telling us what will be in the future.--1NL 96 (1903). {LDE 15.6}.

The solemn messages that have been given in their order in the Revelation are to occupy the first place in the minds of God's people.--8T 302 (1904). {LDE 16.1}.

The Subject Should Be Kept Before the People.
There are many who do not understand the prophecies relating to these days and they must be enlightened. It is the duty of both watchmen and laymen to give the trumpet a certain sound.-- Ev 194, 195 (1875). {LDE 16.2}.

Let the watchmen now lift up their voice and give the message which is present truth for this time. Let us show the people where we are in prophetic history.--5T 716 (1889). {LDE 16.3}.

There is a day that God hath appointed for the close of this world's history: "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Prophecy is fast fulfilling. More, much more, should be said about these tremendously important subjects. The day is at hand when the destiny of souls will be fixed forever. . . . {LDE 16.4}.

Great pains should be taken to keep this subject before the people. The solemn fact is to be kept not only before the people of the world but before our own churches also, that the day of the Lord will come suddenly, unexpectedly. The fearful warning of the prophecy is addressed to every soul. Let no one feel that he is secure from the danger of being surprised. Let no one's interpretation of prophecy rob you of the conviction of the knowledge of events which show that this great event is near at hand.--FE 335, 336 (1895). {LDE 16.5}.

Cause and Effect

Do we see why it is eternally necessary to keep before us the study of prophecy? It has the power to change lives, because the Spirit of God works on the heart of anyone who is willing to hear the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 17:1-18.
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Question:

Where is Christ when this vision is revealed to John?

Answer:

In the Heavenly Sanctuary – where in the Heavenly Sanctuary? The Most holy place (Rev 11:18,19).

So what does that mean?

It means that it’s the time during the judgment; the time after 1844.

Ps 77:13.
13 Thy way, O God, [is] in the sanctuary: who [is so] great a God as [our] God?

The events on earth should tell us where our Savior is and that He is working out my salvation.

Do we still believe that there is a Heavenly Sanctuary? Revelation IS Sanctuary Language

The Vision is revealed to John from The Heavenly Sanctuary.

Let us Jump back to Rev 16. What’s happening here? We know it’s the seven last plagues which occurs at the standing up of Michael (Dan 12:1). John here, is not only taken to the time of the end but to the end of time; the last acts in the drama. Let us read from verses 13.

Revelation 16:13-21.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

What does John see?

John sees the seven plagues but he’s particularly concerned about what he saw pertaining to the 6th and 7th plague which deals directly with the fall of spiritual Babylon – The Papacy – The Dragon, Beast and False prophet.

The Angel that talks with John in Revelation 17 expands or sheds more light on this Babylon. He gives him, John, Us, a panoramic view as to the history of this antichrist power.

A closer look at Revelation 17

1And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Where is John carried? Answer = The Wilderness Why?

The Angel shows John (Us) the period of the dark ages (the 1260 years) and more so the latter part of that period the period just before 1798 (the deadly wound). John saw a new power on the rise (USA the 6th head in 1776). NOTE: One day very soon the USA (6th) will surrender its authority to the UNO (7th).

A closer look at Revelation 17

Revelation 17:6,7.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

The angel speaks

The Angel now tells John (Us) the reasons why she will be judged and why he should never marvel, why he should be careful so as to not be beguiled by her. She is the false system of worship expressed.

Paying a visit to Daniel

40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

BREAKDOWN

Revelation 17:8-10.

Beast - Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth.

Perdition – 2 Pet 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

1 Tim 6:9.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Wisdom – Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Prov. 1:5.
1 A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

Mountain – Political or Religio-Political power hence 7 kings, Kingdoms or Nations.

Woman – Church: In this case it’s a false Religious power – the Papacy.

The five kings that have fallen are...

1. Babylon
2. Medo Persia
3. Greece
4. Roman Empire
5. Roman Catholic Papacy (After 1798 ad it became beast "that was")

Present day but slowly fading...

1. The USA – Not a world power but has tremendous world influence and control. Will eventually collapse due to natural, economic and political turmoil Is coming quickly on the scene for the sole purpose of giving power or to revive the wounded beast of which the USA is a part...
2. United Nations – New World Order The 8th is simply the 5th revived due to the surrendering of global powers. The catalyst being the New World Order...

The UNO

The United Nations Organization (UNO) is an international organization whose stated aims are facilitating cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, progress, human, and achievement of world peace. The UN was founded in 1945 after World War II to replace the League of Nations, to stop wars between countries, and to provide a platform for dialogue. It contains multiple subsidiary organizations to carry out its missions. There are currently 193 member states, including every internationally recognized sovereign state in the world but the Vatican City.

BREAKDOWN

Revelation 17:11-13.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

BREAKDOWN

The Beast that was: Is the Roman church that began in 538ad and continued until Napoleon sent in General Berthier in 1798 A.D.

...and is not: From 1798ad until the signing of the Lateran treaty in 1929 the Roman Church/ state was non-existent. Therefore the Roman church "is not" in power now.

...yet is: From 1929 to present the Roman Church has been a church & state. The "yet is" aspect of the prophecy states that though this beats was mortally wounded, it WILL return.

The significant of 10 (10Horns)

It Represents Completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything, is, therefore, the ever-present signification of the number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete.

It Symbolizes all the kingdoms or nations of the World in the end of time – our day. Just as the 10 Commandments sums up all of Gods Law.

Revelation 17:14-18.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The deceived turn against the whore.

The Whore will deceive the Kings Governors and Rulers of the world, they will be mesmerized by her charm her presentation as savior as Christ but she is Antichrist.

They recognize her true nature, as the mask is removed at the close of global probation when Michael stands for His people. Satan will be exposed and the masses will... (just like the slaughtering of the false prophets on Mount Carmel when the Glory of The True God was seen as revealed by His true prophet Elijah)... will turn against the Papacy in share bitterness. Gods Word must be fulfilled.

THE 10-POINT PLAN BY ALICE BAILEY (Born 1880 Died 1949) AND THE NEW WORLD ORDER FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF CHRISTIANITY

THE STRATEGY:

The 10-Point Charter

1. TAKE GOD AND PRAYER OUT OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM.
   Change curriculum to ensure that children are freed from the bondage of Christian culture. Why? Because children go to school to be equipped to face life, they are willing to trust and they are willing to value what is being given to them. If you take God out of education, they will unconsciously form a resolve that God is not necessary to face life. They will focus on those things the school counts them worthy to be passed on and they will look at God as an additional, if one can afford the additional.

2. REDUCE PARENTAL AUTHORITY OVER THE CHILDREN.
   Break the communication between parent and child (Why?). So that parents do not pass on their Christian traditions to their children, liberate children from the bondage of their parent traditions (how?).
   Promote excessive child rights; (1997-1998 South Africa introduced Child rights legislation – UNICEF Charter; Today a child is able to say to parent ‘I do not want to hear that, I don’t want to do what you are telling me. Teachers cannot talk to children, children step up and say I have my rights, you cannot talk to me like that).
   Abolish corporal punishment; (this has been made law). On the other hand the Bible says “Do not withhold correction from a child, for if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. You shall beat him with a rod and deliver his soul from hell.” (Proverbs 23: 13-14).
   N.B. Jesus said in the last days – wickedness will increase, there will be rebellion and children will not obey their parents. It is not a trend, it is organized.
   Teachers are the agents of implementation – from workshops, teachers tell children, “Your parent has no right to force you to pray or read the Bible, you are yourself, have a right of your own, you need to discover yourself, self-expression, self-realization, self-fulfilment are all buzz words.”

3. DESTROY THE JUDEO-CHRISTIAN FAMILY STRUCTURE OR THE TRADITIONAL CHRISTIAN FAMILY STRUCTURE (Why?)..
   It is oppressive and that the family is the core of the nation. If you break the family, you break the nation. Liberate the people from the confines of this structure (How?).
   Promote sexual promiscuity – free young people to the concept of premarital sex, let them have free sex, lift it so high that the joy of enjoying it (sex) is the highest joy in life, fantasize it, that everybody will feel proud to be seen to be sexually active, even those outside of marriage.
   Use advertising industry, media – T.V., magazines, film industry to promote sexual enjoyment as the highest pleasure in humanity.

4. IF SEX IS FREE, THEN MAKE ABORTION LEGAL AND MAKE IT EASY.
   Build clinics for abortion – Health clinics in schools. If people are going to enjoy the joy of sexual relationships, they need to be free of unnecessary fears, in other words they should not be hampered with unwanted pregnancies.
   Abortion as told by Christians is oppressive and denies our rights, we have a right to choose whether we want to have a child or not. If a woman does not want the pregnancy, she should have the freedom to get rid of that pregnancy painless and as easy as possible’. Today it is not only accessible, it is forced. Today abortion is a strategy to curb population control together with the use of condoms and ‘pill’.

5. MAKE DIVORCE EASY AND LEGAL, FREE PEOPLE FROM THE CONCEPT OF MARRIAGE FOR LIFE.

6. MAKE HOMOSEXUALITY AN ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLE 7. DEBASE ART, MAKE IT RUN MAD.
   How? Promote new forms of art which will corrupt and defile the imagination of people because art is the language of the spirit, that which is inside, you can bring out in painting, music, drama etc. Look at the quality of the music that is coming out, the films out of Hollywood.

7. USE MEDIA TO PROMOTE AND CHANGE MINDSET.
   The greatest channel you need to use to change human attitude is media. Use the press, the radio, T.V, cinema. You can tell today how successful they have been in implementing the plan over 65 years via media as well as advertising agencies, billboards, magazines. Who controls media? (New Age).
   So much money is pumped into media and advertising spreading of pornographic material and other sources. Sex outside of marriage is thrown on your face 80-90 times than sex in marriage. Promiscuity is being promoted as natural, you watch gay sex on T.V. in homes where children’s minds are being neutralized to sensitivity to these things. You wonder why newspapers, T.V, etc do not record anything about Christian activities.

8. CREATE AN INTERFAITH MOVEMENT.
   Promote other faiths to be at par with Christianity, and break this thing about Christianity as being the only way to heaven, by that Christianity will be pulled down and other faiths promoted. She said promote the importance of man in determining his own future and destiny – HUMANISM.
   She said tell man he has the right to choose what he wants to be and he can make it happen, he has the right to determine his cause – this takes God off His throne. Interfaith movements are rising everywhere in the world today.

9. CREATE AN INTERFAITH MOVEMENT.

10. GET GOVERNMENTS TO MAKE ALL THESE LAW AND GET THE CHURCH TO ENDORSE THESE CHANGES..
    The church must change its doctrine and accommodate the people by accepting these things and put them into its structures and systems.

Quote from - Maranatha Chap. 157 - Apostasy Prepares the Way.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 2 Thessalonians 2:3. {Mar 165.1}.

It was apostasy that led the early church to seek the aid of the civil government, and this prepared the way for the development of the papacy--the beast. Said Paul: "There" shall "come a falling away..., and that man of sin be revealed." 2 Thessalonians 2:3. So apostasy in the church will prepare the way for the image to the beast. {Mar 165.4}.
