We have come to the time when the child of God must not just remember that he or she is a pilgrim but must also live the life of a pilgrim.

I pray and hope that by Gods grace we are doing fine, even as we see our world grinding to a halt. We have come to the time when the child of God must not just remember that he or she is a pilgrim but must also live the life of a pilgrim. It is indeed interesting to actually experience in real life, the rapidity in which all the plans that we would have had, fade before our eyes layer by layer. The fact remains, that this global issue is not an illusion neither is it a movie.
Shouldn’t we have expected at some point, some interruption or disruption in our lives because this earth is not our final destination? Did our plans and projections account for the possibility, the slight possibility of an uninvited unwanted guest? The notorious COVID-19. Well guess what, the guest is here and we’ll be visited more frequently.
…just to name a few, all of which are disrupted, interrupted and in some cases fading as a boat on the horizon.
One may well ask, shouldn’t I plan? Another may reply, have your plan been laid in the Masters Plan?
And this is where not just faith in Jesus but the faith of Jesus in this present crisis will reduce, remove or replace fear because the pilgrim, the one who is just passing through, even though their plans fade or fail will NOT faint due to the fact that they understand that this world with its disappointments and satisfactions is just a rope made of sand.
In order for one to stand one must appreciate embrace and subscribe to the Masters plan.
In the book of Mark 10:17-27, we are reminded about the rich young ruler, we could say he had everything going for him, all his plans were coming to pass, his disappointments and failings were little in comparison to his successes.
His virtual world was shattered when he met Jesus, the real pilgrim who lived according to the Masters plan. In the book of Revelation we have good counsel.
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. - Revelation 3:18
Am I praying away this crisis so that I can resume normal life? Am I frustrated with this situation because I had so many things to accomplish? Am I angry at God for allowing my so called busy life to be disturbed so that He can repair it?
We have come to a time when God has paused church to preach the sermon to self, Himself, so as to realign my plans with His. There is much to gain Spiritually in this major turning point of our lives.
God has already delivered the strength needed to see us through this semi difficult time.
Watch Him Move...
Blessings!
We’ll be in touch.
